Christian Resources Awards 2010
The inaugural Christian Resources Awards were made at the Awards Dinner held on the first evening of the National Christian Resources Exhibition (CRE), 11th may 2010, and at the conclusion of the ‘Retailers Day’.
A full list of the award winners can be seen here but the main product awards went to The Vicar of Baghdad, by Andrew White (Monarch) which picked up the title of Christian Book of the Year, Breakout by Mark Stibbe & Andrew Williams (Authentic) awarded Christianity Magazine Book of the Year and in the world of children’s books, 50 Weirdest Bible Stories by Andy Robb (CWR) and The Lion Encyclopaedia of the Bible by Peter Atkinson (Lion Hudson). A new award for 2010 was the Ultimate Christian Library Book, sponsored by Speaking Volumes, which was awarded to One Step Beyond by Gram Seed (CWR) and the ACW Award for Creativity with the Bible went to Best Mates by Bob Hartman (Authentic).
Praise & Worship Album of the Year went to The New Best Praise and Worship Songs Ever (Kingsway) with the Contemporary Album of the Year going to History Makers: Greatest Hits – Delirious (Survivor) and the Gospel Album of the Year awarded to WOW Gospel 2009 (Integrity-Provident). Congratulations to all the winners.
